Wirra Wirra Chook Block Shiraz

A deep ruby with paler crimson tones. Once again the Chook Block has created a wonderful harmony of depth and lightness of touch. Great fruit concentration of plum compote and fresh redcurrant are layered with star anise, a hint of tobacco, and a stony baked earth character that is a hallmark of the vineyard. Super-fine and velvety tannins provide a framework that runs evenly the length of the palate to a remarkably long and refined finish.
