Clase Azul Mezcal is created using 100% Cenzino Agave, which grows wild in the state of Durango. The region, known for extreme climate, local natural springs, and mineral-rich soil, contributes to the complex and powerful profile that differentiates this mezcal from those produced in the rest of Mexico. The underground baking process produces sweet notes of ash, brown sugar, chocolate, honey, peanut, and wood. The fermentation process using stone piles and red oak, contribute to notes of ripened fruit. Clase Azul Mezcal is truly unique from beginning to end! The black matte decanter, inspired by clay pottery, is hand-carved by Mexican artisans and the colorful beaded cap is hand-crafted by artisans belonging to the Huichol culture.
